Bible Study at St. Johns
Sunday Mornings - all classes are at 9:15 – 10:15 AM.
Adult Faithweavers. Led by Rae Winstead. This small group provides Bible study for adults, as well as discussions on parenting by applying God’s truth to everyday life. On-the-go families will receive a weekly e-mail bulletin to continue their faith conversations during the week.
Old and New Testament – Adult Bible Study - Led by Rusty Grimsley. Study of the Books of the Bible, alternating from the Old and New Testaments.
In the Book – Adult Bible Study – Led by Bob Winstead. Study the Bible chronologically. Members share the variety of interpretations of Scriptures from individual member's Bibles. Study is structured through the use of handouts that address the preceding weeks' daily Bible reading assignment.
Life Applications Led by Suzanne Dorick. A flexible setting to talk about God and the spiritual side of our lives. Beginning in September, the group will study “The Hole in Our Gospel” by Richard Stearns.
Thursday Mornings - 10:30 to 12 Noon. Led by June Aylor, The class studies the Old and New Testament scriptures, Christian values and traditions, through weekly readings and discussions.
