Adult Sunday School

Classes meet on Sundays at 9:15a.m. We have several classes to choose from so come and learn about the Bible, about God's love for us and about how to be a Christian in today's world.


Old and New Testament
Education Office

Adults, Education Office (Donaldson Building): Study the books of the Old and New Testaments.

In the Book
Library

Adults & Teens (Sanctuary Building). An inter generational group study of the Bible with DVDs of historical and archeological places of biblical significance.


Children & Youth Sunday School


Nursery
Rm S-3

Available 9-11:30 AM. Your child will be well cared for by qualified nursery attendant(s). Play, music, and stories are offered depending upon the child's ability and interest.

Children's Sunday School
Rm S-9

Children's class for ages 4 years to 4th Grade (Sanctuary Building). Children learn Bible stories and scripture, doing imaginative crafts and playing games that emphasize the lesson.

Confirmation

Children 6th Grade and above. Youth learn what it means to be Methodist and a disciple for Jesus Christ. Also includes hands-on-mission activities in class.

Teen Faithweavers
Rally Room 12–1:30 PM

High School Teens meet on the first Sunday of the month to discuss Bible stories and Christian principles in the context of their lives. Lunch is included.

Bible Study

THURSDAY 10:30 AM—Noon [Library] A casual, small group gathering to study books of the Bible and Christian topics of interest through weekly readings and discussions.

Music Camp

Each year at the end of June, St. John's Music Ministry holds a Children's Music Camp. Classes include singing, handbells/handchimes, creative movement and Orff/rhythm instruments. After a fun filled month of learning about music, the camp students perform a musical program at the following Sunday's worship service.
