It's no secret. Almost twice as many women as men belong to United Methodist Churches, and the absence of men affects the spiritual health of families, congregations and communities.

United Methodist Men (UMM) enjoy fellowship and food, with a mix of service and devotional study.  In addition to our monthly breakfasts, UMM serve an annual Steak Night to our members. Our service projects include church-wide clean-up, Lenten Dinners, Operation Christmas Child, and the St Johns Community Fun Fair. Our monthly UMM breakfasts feature devotional study as well as special programs are. Come join us for breakfast tthe second Sunday of each month beginning at 7:30 AM in Donaldson Hall.

UMM conduct fund raising events during the year to support a variety of local and national charities. We derive our funds from an annual yard sale, a chili sale and our support of the United Methodist Women’s annual Harvest Banquet.

We sponsor the St Johns UMC Scout Troop and invite the Scouts at all levels to join us for breakfast during the observantion of Scout Sunday each February.

St. John’s UMC men are automatically UMM. YOU are missing out on good food and Christian fellowship by not being a regular participant in our monthly breakfasts and UMM-sponsored events. Further, we who are regular members need YOUR participation in UMM to further Christ’s work in our church, local community and the world.
