St. John's Sanctuary Choir is for adults to offer their singing voices in worship services.
Regular rehearsal time is on each Thursday at 7:00 p.m. from September to May.
St. John's Singing Saints is a singing ministry to local assisted living communities. Visits to local assisted living communities include Aarondale (on 1st Thursday of each month), Arden Courts (on 2nd Thursday of each month), the Hermitage (on 3rd Thursday of each month), and the Lincolnia Health Care (on 4th Thursday of each month).
Bells of Praise, founded in 1998, plays AGEHR level 3 repertoire. Regular rehearsal time is on each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. from September to May.
Bells of Joy, founded in 2012, plays AGEHR level 1 repertoire. Regular rehearsal time is on each Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. from September to May.
St. John's Youth Choir participate in worship frequently as well as providing soloists.
The children's choir practices from 11:30a.m., to 1p.m. Sundays after worship services. The children perform in worship services frequently.
Each year at the end of June, St. John's Music Ministry holds a Children’s Music Camp. Classes include singing, handbells/handchimes, creative movement and Orff/rhythm instruments. After a fun filled week of learning about music, the camp students perform a musical program at the following Sunday’s worship service.
The camp is held Tuesday through Sunday (including Saturday) from 9:30 a.m.—12:30 p.m. It is free for children ages 4—10 years old. Campers are asked to bring their own snacks and drinks each day.
