The Bi-District Young Adult Ministry is a ministry that fills the void that a lot of churches are missing out on.  This is an open group for college age students to 40 years old, where we fellowship in many aspects, including spiritual reading, fellowships, and missionary opportunities.

The Young Adult Ministry is offering Book studies on both Tuesday and Thursday nights.  The studies are on separate events between the two evenings:

• Every Tuesday: January 8 - February 12th: Meditation Study at St. Luke's UMC, 7:30 p.m., led by Deborah Porras, Associate Pastor at St. Luke's
• Every Thursday: January 3 - February 14th: Prayer Study at St. Matthew's UMC in Annandale, 7 pm

Lenten studies will also be offered both nights beginning on February 19th (21st for Thursday nights) at the same locations.

There will also be a lot of fellowship activities coming up:

January 5th: After Christmas Party and Dinner, St. Luke's UMC, 5:00 p.m. Wear your tacky Christmas outfits and bring your least favorite gift.  We’ll have a secret Santa gift exchange

January 25th: Friday Night Out, an evening of dinner and fellowship.  La Sandia, Tysons Corner, VA, 7:00 p.m.

February 2, 10:00 am: Rising Hope Mission Day and Lunch, Rising Hope UMC, Alexandria

February 23, 5:00 pm: Contemporary Worship followed by Honduras Mission Dinner, Burke UMC, Burke, VA - Come to one or both!

March 8-10: Weekend Retreat to Cass, WV, Snowshoe Mountain. A weekend to get away from the hustle and bustle of Northern Virginia, to ski, tube, hike, and enjoy the beauty of the mountains!  Keep alook out for more info!

April 13th: Camp Highroad Workday / Ropes Course Challenge: We will give to the local Methodist retreat center and perform outdoor work.  After lunch, we will challenge ourselves to a ropes course!

May 4th: Field Day at Burke Lake Park, 12 Noon to 3 or later. We will have fellowship time enjoying the lunch feast, then burn off what we eat with various games, including frisbee golf!
