Purpose of United            Methodist Women • To know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; • To develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and • To expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Membership

United Methodist Women is open to women of all faiths – you don’t have to be a member of St John’s United Methodist Church – or a United Methodist – to belong. This is a wonderful way to make new friends, to have fellowship time and to support various outreach and mission projects.

St John’s UMW is comprised of five circles which meet monthly; and the Friends Circle which does not hold monthly meetings. To join a circle or get more information, call the Church Office.

St John's UMW "Gerry Daggett" Scholarship for Women

St. John’s United Methodist Women support a scholarship for adult women, ages 17 and above, to provide financial assistance with tuition payments to accredited institutions of higher learning. Applicants do not have to belong to United Methodist Women, but must be an active member of St John’s United Methodist Church for one year. Applications must be received by the UMW President not less than 6 weeks prior to enrollment. Contact Marty B

UMW Circle Information
